Lenova

Lenova is a continent in my brother and I's combined world for urealms, which, as he calls it, is DND Lite. I wanted to be able to reference characters from his campaigns while having a separate landmass that is somewhat unaffected by his plot lines. Because of the nature of how my brother played urealms before I joined him, certain rules, places, and characters are canon to urealms while most others are unique or tweaked for our purposes.   Lenova primarily hosts the kingdom of Kyrie, founded by King Giovanni Palestrina. After establishing his borders approximately two hundred years into his reign, he wished to establish a ruling system that did not rely solely on him. He decided, as a lover of music, to give power to the finest musicians and instrument makers in the land. Each family, by happenstance, ended up as a different Urealms race, which allowed for shared power among the races. The different houses often integrate their natural magic into their chosen instruments.   Lenova does not have many unified kingdoms, so Kyrie is on a near-constant path of outward expansion. The noble houses primarily keep to their ancestral homes, although they often send emissaries to regions deemed under their purview by King Palestrina.   Kyrie's first contact with Adiasora, my brother's continent, was when Lady Sonora Allora visited the continent to attempt a trade deal with King Leomaris. At this time, her flute was stolen, but it was recovered by a band of adventurers under the guidance of Sloane Azveltara. Whether or not the trade deal was successful has yet to be established.
