Moonguards

The Moonguards are ancient powerful warriors with supernatural abilities, who took an oath to end Kopper's tyranny, and bring balance to the world. A platoon of Lunarian army was granted the power by the Titans named Trebett, as an aid in difficult times. She appeared for them in the image of the moon, and these soldiers made an oath to carry on her message, and use her offerings to restore balance, hence their name; Moonguards.

Their abilities are beyond ordinary magic, some moonguard can control time, read minds, manipulate particles or change temporarily the laws of physics. While some of this is still possible with regular magic, it still requires a decade of learning for an archmage to imitate a fraction of a moonguard’s power, a person who is either born with it, or they were granted it for various possible reasons. A moonguard can obtain their power by inheriting it from an older relative who passed away, killing another moonguard, or by being specifically chosen by Trebett. The first moonguards were essentially magic wielding soldiers who never studied magic in their lives.
