Scribifist Hall

Scribifist Hall is a guildhall located in Tolercia that is known for its locks that are only able to be opened by an efflucist.
The mechanism by which the locks of Scribifist Hall work has changed as technology has developed, however the method by which an individual unlocks them has remained the same through the years. A surface of some kind is mounted on the wall beside a door. On this surface, the efflucist writes a specific word or phrase (a password) in a particular kind of spell script with a particular kind of ink. The words are then absorbed by the surface and if all the variables align with what is required by the locking mechanism, it will unlock. Though any efflucist could in theory gain access to the building, the password is carefully guarded by the scribifist guild and the specific type of ink is distributed only to its members in pens to be used with the lock.
