Giltan's Port Zerek Giltan was a pirate, a smuggler and at times almost a hero. Five thousand years after the destruction of the ancients, he began building and growing his pirate hidout at the southern end of Kelthala's Wound. Protected from envious or vindictive neighbors, the town flourished, becoming a booming center of trade and a hub of guild activity. Giltan's Port is now home to at least 125,000 citizens, living atop and inside the cliffs, with visitors bringing the total easily to twice that number.

The son of the Duke of Varna navigates his frustrating family dynamics
King Raimo is crowned King of the Elves. He brings the artificer Halldor to his court. Minor members of the court disappear but many are assumed to have gone wandering, as they were loyalists of Raimo's Uncle, the former king.
It is revealed that the disappearances in the court are caused by Halldor. Halldor infuses the mighty magic items he makes with the souls of elves to give them much greater power at a much "cheaper" cost of magic and material. Halldor flees, and the King is killed in a coup.
The orc God-Queen perishes in a border skirmish without formally declaring her successor. Her six children fight for dominance, allowing the rest of Leinyere a moment of relative peace while the orcs settle their succession issue. (Dwarven) Traders make a killing selling arms, armor and supplies to all parties.
Zahra of Qasin becomes Zahalldor after killing her brothers and becoming the heir to the Sultanate of Qasin.
Satrap Darius marches on the capital, Qasin and deposes the Sultan, seizing the Peacock throne for himself.
