Hydrisikk
A massive, subterranean reptile like that of a serpent. With an overall length of up to 1 kilometer, these rare monsters are often worshipped by the naga as deities of their kind.
Hydrisikk are highly intelligent creatures, often accepting sacrifices from the naga in exchange for protecting their underground territories. Hydrisikk have poor vision despite having six eyes, mostly attributed to the fact that they spend their lives beneath the ground. To compensate, Hydrisikk have acute senses of smell, allowing them to easily track prey that wanders into their winding tunnels. The backs of Hydrisikk are covered in rubbery spines which contract during movement to streamline tunneling- while still, the spines expand outwards to allow the serpent to sense vibrations beside and above itself. This allows the Hydrisikk to track and hunt prey both above ground and through cavern walls.
Hydrisikk scales are thin but contain grooves designed to catch on rocks. As the Hydrisikk moves through the earth, it will gain an armour-like coat of stone that renders them resilient against weapons. Additionally, they can use this armour to traverse through magma short distances.
Hydrisikk are so rare and live for so long that it is unknown as to how these mythical snakes reproduce. Despite being reptiles, there has never been a Hydrasikk egg spotted.
