Gong

Built on Aon's Bay, Gong is the port city of the Eastern Provinces and a crucial part of the food supply for the land. Their harvest of fresh food and aquatic wildlife from the ocean has provided the entirety of the East with a strong liking for seafood. Of course, the further inland one travels, the less prevalent the taste for seafood as sluggdon become the more common livestock. Gong has also become much larger in recent years as the Songkram Empire have made it their capital where the Castletower is located. Gong was also the site of the Songkram's first formation in 260 DHT. Gong is located in the less fertile grounds outside of the Songkram Valley, but the sea being so close offsets this lack of terrestrial farming.
