The Eternal's corruption had done its damage. The Halfling North now is at war with itself.

The war of the halfling north was a long and bloody conflict. Though the name suggests only one war, it was actually several wars between the various halfling city-states and districts. The first was between Aes-vri, and the Port of Moonfall. The it was won with a single siege, as the rangers of Aes-vri hit the capital building, and slaughtered Moonfall's leaders. This is what kicked off the chain of conflicts. Allies of Moonfall would then attack Aes-vri, and allies of Aes-vri would attack the allies of Moonfall.   The fighting first started in the northern most city-states. However, with each siege, battle, and skirmish, the war made it's way south. Soon, every city-state was locked in brutal conflict. Neither Port Moonfall, or Aes-vri would see the end, as they were both were conquered in the early days of the wars. Many halflings fell. The casualties ranked in the tens of thousands. What was first twenty-one city-states became three small nations. They all but hated each other.
