Attempted Corruption of the Dragons

3500B.A.

As the mortals were all corrupted to varying degrees, the dragons remained untouched. The third son, now named Greed was a master of corruption, standing even above his eldest brother in the art. In his mind, and plan, the dragons would soon fall to the same sins that now infect everything else.

Of all his siblings, Greed displayed the greatest of prowess in the art of manipulation, and corruption. He turned his skillful gaze to the dragons. To each of the dragons, he whispered temptations, and desires into the dragons' hearts. Or, so he tried. The dragons were the first "mortal" beings, and had the closest connection to Deos, able to contact him directly, and hold conversation. This allowed them to obtain the purity necessary to resist the temptation.
They all unanimously rebuked the evil thing. In doing so, they pieced together what was happening, why their draconin, and all the other peoples had suddenly become so destructive, and sinful. They pieced together that something beyond was corrupting them.
This was the first time anything had rejected Greed's influence. The dragons now terrified Greed. He was convinced they were more than Deos had told him. He tried to compel the draconin to turn on the dragons as well. Once again, he was rebuked. His final attempt to do away with the dragons was to convince everything else that the dragons were evil. That is exactly what he did. The brimbarians, dwarves, munren, and halflings all now thought the dragons evil, and would attack them. Quickly, the dragon's began to dwindle in numbers.
In desperation, they brought this new information to Deos' attention. Deos confronted his children, and saw their twisted, dark, sinful forms, and instantly knew what they had done...
