Dragon Brew
Brewed almost everywhere in Eternity, consumed the most in the draconic nations. Most places view this brew as an autumn special. Though, it has a much stronger meaning in the draconic nations, as it was the first adult beverage the draconin ever brewed, and now has a heavy place in draconic culture. It is brewed using Blood Berries. Their taste alone is that of a sweet, smooth, and rich. The berry alone has become a staple in draconic cuisine, despite the fact that they are largely carnivorous. When fermented in herbs, for several months, the berries turn into something else entirely.
Marginally sweet, mostly bitter, smooth, rich, with a great wave of cinnamon, and clove, with other spices. Its spice flavor is strong enough to the point where it physically warms the body. There are three variants of the Dragon Brew. The sweet version is used mostly in Doh'garus, during the massive party after a young draconin forges his or her blade. The normal version is just that, a drink which is consumed fairly often in both special occasions, and nights out with friends. The dry version, just like the name, has a certain dryness to it, and is more potent than the normal, or sweet versions. The dry version is often consumed during drinking contests. It has been served in many events. In both triumphs, like the immediate aftermath of the first orc conquest. And, it has been served in times of sorrow, such as the aftermath of the first Doh'garus-Heodar war. Some jokingly say that the Dragon brew is the only reason Doh'garus didn't fall into civil war after the Do'garus-Heodar war.
Depending on who you ask, and where, the best Dragon brew comes from one tavern in a small town, in the eastern end of Doh'garus called Erevrok. The tavern is owned by a draconin woman named Mijira Valmiel. It is known for being at precisely the right intensity, and is always served at exactly the right temperature. To this day, that tavern serves as a rest spot for any of the Horoth's Siegebreakers passing through the area for this very reason.
Ever since the first age, the draconin have taken pride in this famous beverage and is the only thing they have freely shared with the rest of Eternity. It is a staple of draconic culture, and has brought some semblence of joy to even the most somber times.
