Zombies

Basic Information

Anatomy

Their bodies and they still may have on moldy, decay, and decomposing clothes of whatever they wore when they were infected. It is not uncommon to see exposed muscle or bone.

Genetics and Reproduction

Zombies are unable to reproduce.

Growth Rate & Stages

There are four different stages of becoming a zombie after initially being bitten: Hour 2: Chills and/or high fever Hour 3: Extreme paranoia Hour 5: Muscle soreness Hour 8: Zombie

Dietary Needs and Habits

Zombies, as the stories told, feed on anything; preferably humans. They swing more towards consuming the brains of humans and other animals in order to keep themselves functional. The longer they go without feeding on a brain, the faster they decay.

Biological Cycle

Zombies die when they are either shot in the head (or cranially damaged). They are not able to "die" in any other way, as they do not have a need for full functionality in the brain or heart.

Additional Information

Social Structure

While there is no visible social structure, all zombies seem to understand that they are not enemies towards each other. They will not attack or harm any other zombie. But, they will eagerly steal food from each other.

Uses, Products & Exploitation

Zombies were (obviously) not wanted as a result of the supposed technological advancements for Theresa Ciccone. However, it fell south, and the world was thrown awry.

Average Intelligence

Are not able to talk or think coherently. However, they seem to be able to know the difference between their kind and a meal.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Despite their decaying nature, zombies are able to hear and see as well as an unaffected human. Their pain receptors do not work, allowing them to take any number of hits in battle.

Symbiotic and Parasitic organisms

Zombies were created from the viral disease.
Genetic Ancestor(s)
Origin/Ancestry
Any human being can be affected; there is no discrimination in the speed or sensitivity to the virus.
Average Physique
Varies in levels of decay.
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Usually a variation of blue, purple, and green. This is due to the decomposition of blood vessels and muscle. Their skin tone may remind one of a healing bruise.
