A red sub-species of Elf that seem to have a deep fixation on war, death and blood. They are only known to be found on the island of Grimacle in the Stonehound Sea and have barely any interaction from anyone outside of their race (I hope you can see why). History

The Saylons are a sub-species of Elf that isolated themselves when they travelled to the island of Grimcacle. Over time they started to adapt to their new surroundings and they changed genetically and they began to form a new culture of blood and death. In their culture, the blood from their sacrifices gives their skin the red colour. In 2374, King Rayrghonghurt of the Blood Ghurgs Ruling Tribe saved them from invasive Scoothound Union settlers and later Grey Elf invaders.   As their new culture began they started to believe that if they pleased the God of Blood, Ghurgavein by doing sacrifices in his name that he would make them prosper or reward them in the future. Sacrifices soon became common with one being done every day. It was an honour to be the daily sacrifice and people would often volunteer. On special celebrations they would sacrifice up to 10 people! Their preferred ways of sacrificing was being burned alive, being lowered into lava or full limb amputation and decaptitation.
