The Anvil Festival

The Anvil Festival happens on the longest day of summer and starts when the sun rises and ends when it sets. It is set in New Mibeji, where every business opens it's doors and the public comes to look at some businesses they usually wouldn't go in without a reason to. The first king of Richel and Chungmustaisis (ex-bodyguard of the Emperor of Chugustus and proprietor of the Blushing Wyrm tavern) to bring some tourism to the nation and give it's people something to look forward to in the hottest months of the year.

History

Started in the year 340, the Anvil Festival was originally meant for the metal workers and clothiers of New Mibeji to be promoted. However, as the years went on, new business began to open, such as taverns, curios, and bookshops. It achieved a new meaning with the old name, however the people of Richel didn't seem to mind.

Components and tools

Everyone who visits is given a cape (it is not fitted, general sizes are handed out) showing the quill and anvil, which is the emblem for the Anvil Festival. Also, the adults are handed a tankard (with the above symbol) and the children a book of stories (usually from Richel or other friendly nations).

Participants

People from Richel and farther wil come to New Mibeji to witness the excitement and new things that are released at the Anvil Festival. The shopkeepers will sometimes reveal a new product that it will be selling from there on. Also, the king will make important announcements at this time as well.

Observance

Other nations will sometimes hold their own Anvil Festival, though they aren't usually as popular as the one held in New Mibeji.
