The Imperial City of Lanyor

Once the greatest city in Lanyor, the former imperial capital has fallen into ruins. Located at the border between the orcish steppes and the lands of dwarves, elves, humans and halflings, nobody has dared to reclaim the ruins.

Demographics

Formerly the capital of the Empires of Lanyor, home to nobles, diplomats, merchants, scholars and many others. The ruins are now inhabited by outcasts and criminals as well as monsters, monstrous humanoids of various kinds and a few orcish tribes.

History

Built by the Dragon-Emperor of the First Empire. Capital of both empires, destroyed and abandoned in the War of Kings.

Architecture

Different architectural styles. The oldest buildings were huge structures designed to house dragons, with smaller quarters for the younger races. During the Second Empire, many of these were converted to ball rooms, banquet halls, temples and throne rooms. Each of the six Kingdoms had their own quarters in the outskirts.

Geography

Huge, sprawling set of ruins - covering most of the land that separates the Kingdoms of Forest, Rivers and Mountains from the Orcish Steppes.
