Kingsterra

Overview

Kingsterra is a continent within the world of Elsmar and believed to be the only populated continent in the world.
Its name and the names of three of its main regions are believed to derive from an old proverb by a Forgotten Scholar. While the origins and context of the proverb have been lost, the proverb itself has survived and used by warmongers to justify wars, giving rise to numerous kingdoms and ending twice as many.

Regions

The continent is split into four main regions, King's Krona, King's Hjarta, King's Trone, and Necromark, and while not connected to the mainland, there are 4 large island chains that are closely associated with the continent, The Islands of Nighmoor, The Islands of Rolowik, the Brons isles, and the Isles of Krossa.
Necromark is to this day not recognized as a proper region by many scholars, but many treaties make clear distinctions that Necromark is nether part of King's Hjarta or King's Trone, and no nation had claim ownership of the territory, making it a true no man's land.

If half the Myths I heard are true, land like Necromark's are the norm across the world, and we live in a blessed garden, a gift from the Gods.
