The Alwynter Guard
Based primarily in the Alwynter Confederacy, the Alwynter Guard is both the armed forces and police force of the Alwynter Confederacy. They however, work alongside the Cold Crusade in regions such as Auria Province and Maham Province.
Most of these are trained at Hound Hill in the province of Shadia, where the head instructor is Constable Sürwen. He is also the primary head of the Guard aside from the government of the Confederacy itself.
Uniquely, however, the Black City maintains it's own trained forces that are counted in the number of the guard, but are fairly unique. These are the Black City Watchmen, who are mostly made up for volunteers, unlike the guard, which is mostly made up of conscripts serving a term of 3-4 years. Also, the Watchmen are unique in that they are moreso trained to handle magic, rituals and witches as potential adversaries.
