Peoples of the Galactic Core

Peoples of the Galactic Core are those who choose to live their lives spread out across habitable and uninhabitable worlds, enjoys the fruits of robust scientific, political, and cultural advancements, and has access to such a gross amount of resources and clean automated labor that society is post-scarcity — in other words, true utopia. Life on one of these Capital worlds is stable, safe, and without want. Union is well known and, now in its third iteration, quite popular. These Capital worlds number in the hundreds and are linked by close-proximity Blink Gates, massive space stations that act as gatehouses to blinkspace. The peoples of these Capital worlds flow through this space, stepping from one world to the next, trading in culture, art, science, faith, theory, goods, sport, and friendship. The average citizen of a Capital world with no augments or significant bioengineering tend to live for as long as between 180 to 220 subjective years. Though decentralized, this network of Capital worlds that dot the Cygnus-Orion Arm of the Milky Way is called the Galactic Core.
