Galactic Manifest Destiny

Broadly, Anthrochauvinism is a political ideology that adopts a manifest destiny approach to humanity’s — specifically, humanity as defined on Cradle — existence on the galactic stage. Humanity, Anthrochauvinism dictates, survived hell and persevere; the Great Filter had passed over them, tested them, and found Humanity worthy of continuing on. As such, Humanity’s right is to claim the stars and populate them freely: no world that can be walked should be denied to Humanity’s standard-bearers. Ours is the charge of the builder — create, expand, and carry all upon your shoulders. Humanity, Anthrochauvinism dictates, is the final judge: let humanity be all, and let all be as we are — in ensuring the survival of the species, the ends justify the means.
In practice, Anthrochauvinism trends towards a conservative, right wing political and social ideology. The Second Committee emphasized strong central control, strong military and civil service, and sacrifice for the cause of the species.
