Elves

Also know as those with elemental spirits or the people of Feiroh woods. They are the smallest in population of the three intelligent species, Humans and Shifters.

Anatomy

humanoid, have pointed ears and thin almond uptured eyes(most often in shades of violett or gold)

Genetics and Reproduction

Reproduction in elves are the same as humans though the pregnancy lasts for 14 months

Growth Rate & Stages

Elves apear child like up to around 20 years which is when they get chosen by an element, and are adult in appareance around the age of about 35

omnivors, eat their food cooked

Social Structure

Group stucture

They live in small family groups of up to 70 peolpe in the forest treetops where each group has a village chief (most often a female)

Family structure

children are a comunal responsibility, while they have a Mother the entire village shares parental responsibilitys. Most elves only have a maximum of 3 children through their life

Geographic Origin and Distribution

the majority are found in the Feiroh forests, while most others are found in other wooded areas and forests. only a few have setled in human or shifter villages or citys

Exeptional hearing and eye sight, and a great deal stronger than humans the same size.

Villages

Nearby geografical or other significant features; lakes, rivers, clearings etc.

Individuals

An elves personal name is ment to give a blessing. They don't have family names, when they introduce them selves to others theu just say which village they come from.

Courtship Ideals

the courtship for any sexual encounter is quite strait forward, the one who wishes an encounter asks politely for a possibility to have an encounter and if refused backs of and most often asks another

Relationship Ideals

Elves only have sporadic monogamous relationships and those are for the most part just there if and when the couple wish to have a child. The only elves with long term monagamous relationships are those in relationships with humans or shifters

Major Language Groups and Dialects

all Elves are multilingual, they all speak a comon language which only a handfull of shifters and humans understand, and the common language(acsented) and some speak other human languages

most dress in a simlistic fasion by just covering their privates and chest(if female).

Elemental magic as they master different techniques of their element they get different colored beads to put in their hair

History

the story tellers of the elves tell of how the elves began as lost and badly injured humans who were saved by Earthly Spirits by the spirit giving away parts of their life force to the humans, which then gave them a longer life and an affinity with the elements. Over time the humans changed and the lifespan became even longer, though that has stoped and the last generations have had about the same, and their bodies adapted to the woods. After meeting others than elves in the forests they moved up to stay hidden as much as possible. As the years went by and they started trusting humans and shifters to the point that some elves moved from the forests and became a bridge for others to interact with the outside world and for humans and shifters to get somewhat accoustomed with elves.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Elves are a secretive species who share little about them selves to the point that humans and shifters in general know little of them. They have civil relations with the other species but most prefer to stay in the forests and most elves only interact with humans and shifters at The Equinox festivals.
