Celestials

Celestials (or sometimes refered to as 'gods') are believed to be the creator and the first inhabitants of Lafira. The information about them are dated back to 40.000 - 20.000 Be.L. In the mythology, they first appear at the Genesis of Lafira, the first chapter.

Although the Celestials have a unique culture with its own traditions and customs, they are sometimes not considered a civilization due to missing information if Celestials really lived in Lafira. Scientists believe that there has to be a civilization prior the Elven Era, which had contact to the first Elven tribes in Lafira, as the history of the Elven Languages shows. Therefore it is most likely that Celestials were the first civilization in Lafira. Their cultural life has been only told and written down by the Elven.

Language

Celestials spoke Haapilujaan, which is the oldest language within the Elven Language Family. Haapilujaa is still spoken today by some High-Elven. The language is considered standardized in speaking and writing. There are no dialects. It is believed that every Celestial could read and write due to the simplicity of the writing system.

The language itself is analytical and contains a relatively normal phoneme inventory. It uses an abjad with featural elements. Due to its curvy and elegant look, it is believed that it was commonly written by using a brush-like object.

Mythology

The Elven Mythology tells the story of the Celestials. They believe that they are the creator of Lafira and the universe.
