Kholis

Kholis is a major trade city with several large ports. It is the gateway for both importing and exporting goods from other areas. The city itself doesn't have too many shops because very few of the actual goods that come in from the docks actually stay within the city. Though because of the busy-ness of the city, it has several guilds all with different interests for both the city and the surrounding areas. The city itself seems fairly lively and busy, with individuals almost constantly moving in and out of the city.   The Ravenblossoms have ruled over the city for generations ensuring at least a level of neutrality when it comes to the differing factions within the city's limits. Most of the city seems at least content with the ruling family and how they allow trade for the most part to be self-governing or at least within between the respective guild, only intervening when necessary.   Beau Landry and the city guard do their best to enforce the laws of the town fairly amongst all individuals. Though it is known that every once and a while a greedy individual within the guard has been bought off to turn the other cheek when shady deals have happened. As for Beau himself, he is judged as fair amongst both the people he leads and the townsfolk. He is also generally liked by most individuals.   Within the city, lies a magical scroll shop and library which many of the citizens all remember to have visited but none remember the name or location of the scroll shop. All they remember is that the owner himself was friendly, warm, and welcoming, and that they enjoyed the time they spent there.
