Kythr'ra

A five pointed land mass worn by the tides of a world in the shape of a star (well, pentagram). This place seems to supply endless mysteries, with a complex history that few have the privilege to learn. from the moment of it's creation, Kythrr'ra has been a mix of species and locations that have no reason to be on the same land mass; evolutionary paths seem to go back only as far as is written. for this odd collision of races has been here since the land was born, creating there own history and learning to cope with the odd collection of landscapes. If you take the time to examine the maps, you will find that this place could not naturally exist on any planet, the environments are extreme, and varied based purely on which point they originate at. Scorching deserts sit side by side with tropical rain forests, and ice mountain ranges cut of suddenly to become temperate deciduous forests. There was a time when these lands where ruled by a race of dragons, huge intelligent beasts who built cities of stone and hollowed out mountains for their nests. But they fought talon against talon, and dwindled their numbers away to life on a single point of the star, and smaller races have since increased in number to take over the majority of the land.
