2024.01.24 - Chapter 1 - Session 2

General Summary

After cleaning yourselves up from your fight against the undead and the Ettin, you talk to Hanzo, who told you about the need of the world to stand against evil at the moment. He himself was leaving on a hunt, to try to help people against the corruption and evil that it is infesting the world. You went to talk to Brad at the tavern, and picked up some jobs:

One job is for a Tattoo artist that needs Cockatrice's feathers for his inks.

Another job is about dealing with the Ettin menace, coming from Mount Anbaik

The last one is about investigating some disappearances around the area close to Port Abol.

Dr. Bones joined your party in an attempt to travel the world and learn more about it. You chose to make your way to Port Abol to investigate the disappearances first. On your way there, you run into some Ghouls on the road that were eating some corpses. You make quick work out of them and continue your trip. Half way through it, you heard some baby crying, and Torgal, Orgc and Dr. Bones decided to investigate by themselves while the rest of the party stayed having a short rest. Before they knew it, once they found out what the noises were about, the group was ambushed by 2 Ettin younglings. After a fierce fight, you defeated the younglings, but were severely wounded in the process.

Rewards Granted

25 gold pieces were found from the corpses that the Ghouls were defiling. Brad looted that gold.
