Redman
Nickname Redman because of a horrible accident that happened while experimenting with Lost Tech that left half of his body permanently colored red. In the dark, you can see a very faint glow coming from the red coloring on him. A good-hearted gnome that can be happy or serious depending on the situation. Tends to be a big softy that hides his true feelings behind a busy gruff old worker gnome, but his friends know better.
Gifted at repairing, building and tinkering. Currently has over a dozen apprentices and is involved in numerous experiments involving underwater exploration. Leading expert with underwater travel, exploration and mechanical means of being underwater. He is the focus point of SENDER as it's his abilities that allow for such advanced things being built.
Recently managed a secret project for the Empire regrading an underwater warship that could sink enemy ships without being detected. Works incredibly hard, always working and never stopping. He does not respect those that are not willing to work hard. He is old school and firmly believes everyone should work hard before playing hard.
After the accident caused the loss of numerous lives including his wife, he vowed to never again work on flight so instead went the direction of traveling under water. During the accident a temporal rift was generated from the explosion where 'someone' stepped through to help Redman as he almost died trying to save everyone else besides himself. This person was touched by seeing this, do after the rescue, hired Redman for a very special project that now takes most of his precious time. Redman is the father of Airielle and she is the most valuable thing in the world to him as she is daddy's little girl.
Is always very busy, while trying to talk to him, multiple people will interrupt with urgent things needing Redman’s attention. Always the center point of a flurry of activities with multiple things all going on at the same time. There is never five minutes without someone running into the room in a panic about something going wrong, needing his help, or something crazy going on with all the experiments happening at SENDER.
A few rumors being whispered about Wardens Watch that he may currently be working on a secret project for Silas… find a team of trusted individuals that could recover a certain lost artifact with immense power from one of the deepest ocean floors.
