Nerran

Written by Agent Serro

Nerran is the Chancellor of Talsworth making him the head of commerce and treasury, after all greed is one of his favorite things to use as a tool for himself. Nerran’s pleasures came from the challenges of orchestrating events that would lead others down an inescapable path while producing ripples effects that would have greater effects over time. He is highly skilled at scheming, planning and orchestrating large scale complex operations for maximum effect.   Those around him always have gravel at his feet either due to being in debt to him, being black mailed or those seeking wealth and power that he can so easily give them thanks to his position of Chancellor. He has also managed to manipulate his way up the ranks within certain secret group to further his own personal goals.   Most times he tends to be quiet, as one that listens knows more information in the long run. On rare times that he becomes angry, the very room grows chilled with an icy air looming over the room. There are more than a few rumors of Nerran’s temper and rage that would make a grown man shiver. No matter what Nerran does, there is always enough money to make things disappear and to cover up any involvement he ever has in anything unbefitting of someone in his position.   With his chiasmatic good looks and station, it's easy for him to manipulate others. Multitasking came natural for him but there was always the pleasure in the art of using others that made him smile. He is also known for being extremely gifted playing his flute made from dragon bone with haunting discordant melodies that are both fascinating and unsettling to hear.   Within the last year, he has felt a great change in the balance of energies of the region to which made him curious about what was causing this change. It would appear that some of new recruits from an adventurer's guild called Wardens Watch were causing an increase of negative energy in the area and this drew his curiosity. After watching for this time, he begins to feel it's time for him to find a way to intervene without others knowing, for his own personal gain in all of this.
