Chief Inspector Farouk

Chief Inspector Farouk is not one to ever underestimate, regardless of his lightheartedness and almost clumsy ways he seems to always be able to find the truth. Many of his peers chalk it up to being overly lucky but his superiors do not believe it's about luck but either way this person is one to be careful of if you ever have something to hide.
As a small child he was often in trouble for snooping around in places he was not supposed to be. Always seeking the truth, wanting to know and understand the truth fully in every way. This did lead to many unfortunate discoveries when he was younger, some upset adults along the way but with the information he was gathering most seemed to just want to forget his trespassing and snooping all together.
Farouk originally applied for military entrance but during his first few weeks, uncovered some of his drill instructors taking bribes from some of the other recruits. This is when the military intelligence division stepped in transferring him into the criminal investigation department, where he felt right at home with. Over the years he slowly climbed the ranks, has an outstanding track record and has been responsible for solving more crimes than most can count.
His personality is ever friendly, almost always in good spirits and most everyone tends to like him. He travels the region moving from case to case which he also enjoys. It's not uncommon for him to receive free drinks at the taverns from people he has helped one way or another. For the most part his storytelling is top notch and folks are always wanting to hear his tales of crime solving. Sure, he may be a little clumsy, a touch awkward and sometimes has a difficult time seeing what's right in front of him but he is well known for his helpfulness.
The biggest enjoyment in his life is uncovering the truth to which he knows no meaning of stopping until he finally gets the complete truth. Once he gets on a trial of something suspicious or anything that is not the truth, he never stops and will always discover the hidden truth at any cost.
