Shooting Star - Omen

Likely originating from the Astral Descent, the people of Kryllos - even those who aren't overly superstitious - widely consider shooting stars as dire omens. A meteor shower would not be understood as a natural phenomenon of astronomy, nor viewed as a mesmerizing celestial display, but feared as an ill portent - a harbinger of calamity or misfortune. Some interpret falling stars as presages of famine, plague, or war; either supernaturally causal of or prophetic warning signals. Others might interpret shooting stars as the need to reconsider choices made, casting doubts upon a decision or marking it as cursed.
