Caius Walker (a.k.a. Domino)

Personal History

Caius grew up on the streets. His only reliable friend was his cunning and his sword. From within the region's capital, he cut, stole, and sold his way through the ranks of The Hallowed Brotherhood. He eventually became an entrusted captain of their order: a custodian of secrets and their only connection to illegal Elven weaponry.

Phase One

The hope for a better life was reborn within Caius when he fell for the seductress, Azura. She was his confidant, lover, and partner in crime. They shared a dream to escape the criminal life together, but he was betrayed. On what would have been their final job (steal, and transport a small but rare Elven artifact), Azura left Caius, taking the score and the payment.
Unable to deliver the product promised or repay The Brotherhood, Caius works the Fallwind region beyond the gang's reach, rebuilding his bankroll, and searching for any signs of Azura.

Aspect 3: Don't tell my friends, but I have values.

Phase Two

Talos was able to harvest Deathbloom from the forests surrounding the Veil, although he had no need for it. In exchange for a few measly Elven artifacts, Talos would provide them freely to Caius.

Aspect 4: Connections through the Veil.

Phase Three

At the busy Windwillow Inn, Goleif drank heavily, annoyed with the cheering and clamouring that come from the crowd that surrounded the weekly game of Pai Sho. When Caius is caught cheating, blades are drawn and fight breaks out. With the odds stacked and Caius' death all but certain, Goleif intervenes and saves him.
