Kanrog, Conqueror

The Grey Storm, the Father of Fury

WOE UNTO THE CONQUERED.

Kanrog governs the divine domain of war, especially war for conquest and plunder. Kanrog is cunning and a master tactician, though he has no patience for politics and prefers to utilize his martial prowess to literally cut through any red tape. Even so, despite and due to his divinity, he is not permitted to intercede in mortal affairs as directly as he would prefer.   Instead, he accepts offerings of blood and plunder and rewards his servants with the strength and knowledge of warcraft required to further their own ends. He does not care if they go to war with themselves, each other, or the world at large. Though he prefers to conquer, all war, even the most righteous crusade for justice, serves him in some way.

Deific Servants

Kanrog has a number of Deific Servants, lower divine beings that aid him in governing parts of his divine portfolio. These gods may be worshipped alongside or instead of Kanrog; those who choose to do so still receive his Boon.   The Four Furies
The Four Furies   The Four Furies are a small sisterhood of harpies that govern vengeance, vendettas, and grudges, both righteous and unrighteous. They were born when he descended from godhood and were meant to be his replacements. Their collective time as full deities was short-lived, however, and upon his re-ascension, they received a small demotion. However, they are still gods, and the prayers of those who have been wronged by others do not fall on deaf ears; the Four Furies have agents on Kraynor whose duty it is to fulfill the bloody pleas of the ones whose offerings they deem sufficient.

Follower Boon - Woe Unto the Conquered
Followers of Kanrog gain the Woe Unto the Conquered ability.   Woe Unto the Conquered. When you reduce an enemy to 0 hit points, you may choose one of their allies. That target must make a morale check. On a failure, in addition to any other effects, the target's speed is reduced to 0 until the end of their next turn.

Trivia
Some Orcish Lorespeakers claim that Kanrog has shown mercy to a fallen foe on only one occasion, though he instructs his followers that wanton slaughter is senseless and stupid. The story of this occasion and its truth or falsehood is lost to myth, for now.

There is a place in Bolok, the red, tar-pit dotted wasteland on the south of Deus Augustus, where Kanrog once fought an army of dwarves under the banner of clan Onyxhammer. He slaughtered them all, down to the last dwarf. Kanrog partially froze the site in time; the carnage there is, to this day, just as it was then. It is called "The Frozen Carnage," and it is a holy site for Orcs and followers of Kanrog.
