Drakkazul

Some of the strongest steel in the world. Ore from only the hottest and most pressurized areas, tempered in dragon's breath.

Properties

Material Characteristics

Depending on the dragon, where the ore is, heat, pressure, and many other factors it can be most any color. As not all dragon's breathe fire you would think that it can only be tempered by dragon's who breath fire. You're wrong kruti! Drakkazul is a magical material and can be tempered in lightning, acid and even wind breath.

Physical & Chemical Properties

Melee Weapons

The magical effects of the blade depends on what type of dragon used its breath on it. Fire breath will make it flammable on command, and will spit flames when used. Acid/poison breath will make the blade corrosive and poison anything it touches, splashing acid as it sings through the air. Ice breath makes the weapon unbreakable, slowing the enemy down with every strike until they are dead, or frozen in ice. Wind breath makes the weapon able to strike with extreme speed. Some of the rarer dragon's and their breath have amazing effects. Such as the solar breath of a sun dragon (The type of dragon King Adrakkazi The Dragonrider tamed) makes the blade incredibly hot and able to slice through just about any non-magical item with ease. Not even that many magical armors can withstand such a strike.

Geology & Geography

Often found deep underground or in magically unstable areas. Always extremely dangerous, many perish attempting to retrieve this precious ore.
