Background

Vivika grew up in Zanrayb, the daughter of a renowned warrior. She never knew her mother, and by her father's silence on the matter, she has come to assume that her mother died before she can remember. Her father raised her to know what he himself knows best--fighting. In a society that expects its women to submit when asked, he found it an amusing novelty to encourage her confidence and strength. Without a mother, she was left to roam the world around her at will while her father was busy or away on a task, and she found the best company in the local street urchins who didn't mind that she was a little more rough-and-tumble like them. When she came of age, she was delighted to be marked as Nubile during her ceremony, but soon after found herself clashing more often with her own beloved father. He expected her to behave like the adult she now was, to temper her attitude and to submit gracefully to her betters. Vivika, however, was not so inclined. She found it increasingly more difficult to reconcile with him in the midst of a city that treated her like a simple object, and when an opportunity arose to leave the city with a group of more open-minded vagabonds introduced to her by her street friends, she took it.

Appearance

As a Nubile, Vivika follows the societal standards of keeping herself well-groomed and slightly-dressed. She keeps her blonde hair long, and carries kohl to highlight her striking golden eyes even while on the road. She has the toned arms, legs, and flat stomach of an athlete, all softened by the textbook curves of a woman. Her skin is smooth and free from blemish except for the small tattoo given to her at her 18th birthday ceremony -- a small snake on her hip to remind of the goddess Nyla's imprisonment.
