Kordesii

On the world of Gallica is a region called Kordesii. Giant animals, sentient plants, and powerful gods call this place their home, and magical life energy courses through leylines as they crisscross the land. These leylines create powerful magical locations, which often lead to great wars for their power.   But magic is a fickle thing. It had granted Kordesii with great wonders but can lead to great tragedy. Giant, divine cacti grow in the desert, the progenitors of a race of sapient cacti. Roses with unknown powers sprout on hidden islands. An ancient and mysterious civilization lived here once, but now their great cities have fallen to ruin. Great secrets hide behind treacherous journeys, and evil powers are at work on the fringes of the world. A lich grows powerful in the north, exiled elves plot in the east, a dragon controls the dwarves to the west, and a race of warlike shrimp hope to one day conquer the surface world.   Luckily, some people work to prevent those dangers. Somewhere near the center of Kordesii stands a bastion of diversity, Caladium City. Here, nearly all races intermingle, and some organizations have begun preparing for the worst to happen. The question is not what could be a problem, but rather which problem will erupt first.
