Kiverea

Kiverea is a world/region created for the fantasy creatures that make up my sculptures. It is predominantly descriptions of these, although some story is told through the secrets, albeit little. These secrets are by no means difficult to piece together but often reference other articles. We may get a plot eventually, maybe in many millenea. That said, enjoy~   Kiverea is vastly diverse with many distinct geographical areas side by side. There are mountain ranges along the West coast although the highest peaks are in the North East of the region. The largest lakes like below these mountains and rivers stemming from these border dense forests giving shelter from the vast storms that frequent the area. Tropical jungles and beaches line the North West coast and share climates with the western islands meaning the island fauna is similar to that of the North West mainland. Due to its more temperate weather and less colourful fauna the South East corner hosted the only larger cities. These fell some time ago, leaving abandoned ruins. The more colourful wildlife prevented industrial areas anywhere else although scattered villages and tribes are located across the island. In every corner of the region reside multitudes of diverse creatures ranging from the miniscule honeyfly dragon to the ship destroying deep sea dragon. These creatures' disposition towards humans varies from indifferent and dismissive, to curious and friendly, to seeing them as an easy meal. The magic is primarily wielded by creatures capable of creating or using it. Magical items and potions are often made from powerful plants and items such as scales and horns. Most cultures embrace this although the industrial hearts in the South East jealously rejected it, isolating them from outsiders. This may have lead to their fall, although this is left undetermined.
