Finally, at the end of the last story, the hetman closed the precious book of red leather covers decorated with golden trim. As the breeze blew cooler, the stars twinkled in the dark night sky, signaling to the humans that bedtime had arrived. The bustle of entire families became a dark and great silence, which was only broken by the chirping of crickets and the croaking of the frogs that lived by the nearby river.   The groups formed by the Kozzakhi in order to witness the usual session of nocturnal stories broke up. In the faces of two very special children – the hetman's son and his best friend –,the fatigue was evident.   "I'm still not sleepy," the brown-haired boy lied, making a huge effort to keep his eyes wide open. Meanwhile, the dark-haired girl tried not to yawn, and she covered her face with her red hair to hide her struggle with exhaustion.   The hetman looked throuh the environment with his imposing, but at the same time, serene and noble gaze. He moved away from the already extinguished fire, approaching the small saplings. Her wife stroked her son's hair and looked into her eyes, then hugged her husband.   The children could hardly walk from the sleep that their small bodies tried to contain. Their parents directed them toward one of the tents, which had several small beds made up of colorfully embroidered blankets, quilts, and pillows. The two little ones lay down, each one in a different bed and covered themselves with the blankets. The girl gave a big yawn and her amber eyes closed, to then receive a small kiss on her forehead from her mother.   The hetman took his last look inside the tent in complete silence. Then approached the boy's bed. The kid still kept his green eyes open. The adult knelt down and addressed his son with a small smile on his face, almost imperceptible.   "Сpokoynoj ночи!", said the chief of the tribe to his little one, messing up his hair a bit.   "Сpokoynoj ночи!", replied the now tired mischievous kid, finally closing his eyes to rest until a new day comes.
