Thornvale

A village surrounded by blackberry farms (hense the name). They make everything blackberry related, pies, wine, ale, etc. It is located in the east of Kildar.
At the centre of the village you find the central square with the market where all the blackberry goods are sold and traded. Around the square you'll find a number of shops and locations:

• The Bramble Inn, owned by Bram the innkeep. You'll only find drinks and meals based upon blackberries here.

• Netties Herbs and Spices (N.H.S.), a small infirmary where those who get injured or fall ill are treated by Nettie the Healer.

• The Grand Thornton Estate of the Thornton family. This family has an effective monopoly on blackberry trade in Kildar. They have learned (sometimes the hard way) that the best way to keep the blackberry business healthy is to pay your blackberry farmers well for their services.

The village of Thornvale is surrounded by blackberry farms as far as the eye can see. Eventually the nicely cultivated bushes slowly transition into a dense forrest of large thorny stalks where the forest floor receives little daylight. Even deeper into the thorny woods the landscape slowly transitions into a swampy land.
Its a relatively peacefull life in and around the village. The forrests surrounding it have relatively recently been cleared by adventurers, but it is still recommended to only travel through them by daylight...

• Nettie the Healer, owner of the local infermary.

• Bram the innkeep, owner of the Bramble Inn.

• Theodore and Thalia Thornton, owners of Thornton Farms, the blackberry farm monopoly of Kildar.

• William Blackwood, the drunken farmer who often starts barfights. (He has a burnscar from a barfight with a Dragonborn adventurer)

• Thadeus & Suzanna Brownwood, owners of Brownwood farms, a subsidiary of Thornton Farms.

• Lily & Ethan Brownwood, the deceased children of Thadeus & Suzanna. Adventurers were unable to save them from a Hag.
