On the continent of Arith, there lies a stretch of land which contains many powerful kingdoms. Long ago they battled endlessly. In a constant state of war there were 7 powers, Meckland, Meracia, Kaeneda, Roshiya, Zhang’Dou, Terraustral, and Frontise which has since fallen. 500 years ago a representative from Kaeneda was successful at fostering peace. Tensions lasted but the thought of war drained from the mind of the kingdom’s leaders. The kingdoms grew to know each other as allies but about 50 years ago it all fell apart when Meracia attacked Frontise. With awful force Meracia descended on Frontise and in 12 years had successfully annexed them. They made an attempt on both Mecksland and Kaeneda, but Kaeneda’s natural fortifications and powerful navy proved too strong for Meracia. With the aid of multiple other countries Mecksland survives. But it’s land is shrinking and multiple parts are under occupation. Meracia’s failed attempts at Kaeneda have weakened their forces but they continue to grow. The continent holds many secrets and hidden powers which attract the attention of beings more powerful than those of the material plane.
