The Eldest

The Eldest were a race of men that lived in the Age of Growth. They built a great empire, for they were indeed great builders. Few of their buildings are left standing; among those that are the most famous are these: the castle at Fort Kaden, the Ornoc Tower, the city of Carahoca, and the Heads of Buruna. They were also great adventurers. They made great ships and sailed around the world and they made many colonies all around the world. There is still some Eldest blood about anywhere in Kezoo. They were very fair to look upon, with blond-white hair, crystal blue eyes, sharp, angular faces, astoundingly tall, and they could speak and sing very well. Their empire lasted for 21,614 years. It fell when their blood was so mixed with that of the lesser race, which they called the Amnoon, that there were very few left of pure blood, and when a race of north man, called the Cannazites, launched a campaign to overthrow their Eldest government(the rebellion spreed like wild fire). All this caused the empire to collapse, although, if the Eldest's subjects had not rebelled, they would not have fallen, and it is known that the north men wished that they had not destroyed the empire, for one of them writes:

O! Could we not have let them alone! O! Just let them alone to do their great and wonderful magic! O! How could they have held this land together, if not by magic!? We have tried and we have failed. Now all is war and war and war, war and woe! O! Had we just kept the peace! All would be great! All would be peaceful! They were a magic, those Eldest! Now we have destroyed everything! O! The world is falling apart! And we did it ourselves! O! Woe! All is war and woe and bloodshed! O! All is woe, woe, woe, and more woe!

After the failing of the empire, there was about 200 years of turmoil and war, which was finally stopped when the elves established an imitation of the Eldest empire. During the Elvish empire the Eldest slowly declined in number. The last pure blood eldest, Narohon the forceful, died in 7864 and the Arnorns have slowly become less and less eldest. Most dukes have some eldest blood in them, with the exceptions of the East Shelow and North Corania dukes because they are elvish. Probably the family with the most eldest blood are the Evennarks (EEV-eh-nark). All the Evennarks have died out in name but there are still living descendants of the Evennarks, which are, from oldest to youngest, Seena Greensmith, Mia Cester, Seena Horbad, Saria Arnarr, and Lifard Cester.
