Banebestower are social and live in a female dominated herds made up of the mother and her children but male offspring will leave once he is sexual mature and the female offspring will usually stay with their mother or leave and make their own territory. During breeding season the males will sniff out a group of females, fight off the competition if victorious then he'll breed with them.

Banebestowers will also seek out poisonous berry bearing plants and eat them, slowly building up their tolerance to the poison, though rarely some do die in this process if too much is digesting by an intolerance member. The behavior results in them having poisonous breath which it uses against predators and rivals. The poisoning can be deadly depending on the time since a banebestowers last ate. The symptoms of the poisoning may include dilated pupils, sensitivity to light, blurred vision, tachycardia, loss of balance, staggering, headache, rash, flushing, severely dry mouth and throat, slurred speech, urinary retention, constipation, confusion, hallucinations, delirium, and convulsions. Through this behavior isn't always effective for preventing predation just deterring it.

Banebestowers color range from gray, or even grayish-brown with dark brown markings on the tip of their tail; the top of their snout, bottom of their chin, and bottom of their underbelly with stripes from top to bottom from their neck to ribs. with bluish grey horns.
