The Order of Wrynn

The Order of Wrynn were created to serve the Wrynn family as a reward for Ivan Wrynns service to the Kingdom as Regent. The Order embodies the family values of the noble house of Wrynn, which they embody in the vows they swear to the head of the Wrynn family and the Commandments they uphold.

Commandments

1. Thou shall believe all that the Church teaches and thou shalt observe all its directions.
2. Thou shall defend the Church.
3. Thou shall respect all weaknesses, and shalt constitute thyself the defender of them.
4. Thou shall love the country ruled by Bahmuts chosen.
5. Thou shall not recoil before thine enemy.
6. Thou shall make war against the Orc without cessation and without mercy.
7. Thou shall perform scrupulously thy feudal duties, if they be not contrary to the laws of the Gods.
8. Thou shall never lie, and shalt remain faithful to thy pledged word.
9. Thou shall be generous, and give largesse to everyone.
10. Thou shall be everywhere and always the champion of the Right and the Good against Injustice and Evil.

These commandments are upheld by all knights in the order of Wrynn. To show the people how seriously they uphold these chivarlric tennetants the knights wear strips of parchment sealed to their armour.

Ceremonies

Joining the Order

The knights of the Order of Wrynn are sworn into service in the Cathedral Church of Uriel, located in Glasstown. They swear their oaths by writing them on enchanted parchment which never fades and is written in Celestial to show their absolute faith. They take this parchment and swear upon its holy words that they shall uphold these vows, then strip the parchment into segements (not all vows are the commandments written above, but all the commandments are vows) so that each vow can be adorned to their armour. These strips of parchemnt are adorned using the Wrynn family seal to show all who see the fidelity of the Order of Wrynn.

The Eagle Quest

The Eagle Quest is a simple ceremony that the Knights of the Order of Wrynn undertake where they hunt for a giant eagles nest. This Ceremony is undertaken by the eldest and youngest member of the order, where they look to obtain a giant eagles egg and gift it to the head of the Wrynn family. This ceremony has its orgins in the Wrynn families history. Ivan Wrynn founder of the Order told his order of knights his foundness for Eagles and how as a boy he wished for one as a pet. In hearing this the Eldest and Youngest memeber set out in secret to bring their lord his childhood request. It is a simple quest but is highly celebrated by the Order as a team building expereince for their brothers in arms.
