Staratel

"The Staratels are one of Stormwinds greatest structures, two enormous gates that mark the entryway into the forest of Barovich. Both built out of two separate erratic mounds of marble they are the guardians of the Forest lords realm. And through this role is where their names are given, Staratel was once a Druid of the Kalithan Clan, who took up his oath to defend the land from those who would burn out hope and destroy its beautiful forests, and through his name, the old common Staratel; or Guardian was born. Now, these great gates into the realm show their age no longer preserved by the lord of Barovich, instead, they are left to decay and oppress those within the forest.
The Staratel is a sight to behold for those wishing to pass through the forests, each gate consists of two enormous pillars of marble, carved in the likeness of Staratel, each facing outward sword tightly gripped, ever watchful of the lands behind them. these two statues stand upon either side of the large rusted metal gate barring the thin twisting path that travellers walk."
