Gypsumbreak

Gyspsumbreak is a very small mining and farming village. once it was a growing town built into the mountain plateaus with a brilliant mine of untapped gold and iron, the surrounding flat grasslands were abundant with cattle and crops. Now it is a dwindling village owned by the Eisenhiem family, whose lavish Villa acts as the defacto govermental building, as from here disputes are settled between the 8 farming families and the Spring Water is collected and barrlled up for the nearby town of Griffin Heights.

Industry & Trade

Gyspsumbreak has three notable industries, Pastoral and Arable farming, a small Carpentry, and while not quite in use there is a Iron and Gold Mine that has been abandoned.

The Farming Families

There are 8 farming families in Gypsumbreak, each has its roots in the original settlement and are split 4 herd farmers and 4 crop farmers. The herding families are as follows:

• McDonald's - Cattle
• Kentucks - Chickens
• Kings - Cattle
• Bells - Sheep

The crop farming families are as follows:

• Mino - Wheat and Barley
• Huts - Wheat
• Subbaway - Corn
• Guy - Vegatable (asorted)

The Farming Families ahve had a friendly competition each harvest festival to see who can produce the largest vegatable in a fun little village tradtion that has seen the McDonald family win for the last 8 years in a row. The Vegatable changes every year and is picked by the family with the smallest vegtable of that year. Some have been saying the McDonald luck has been gifted by a strange man dressed in all white who visited 8 years ago, a man travelling form Grimport.
