Devalos
Devalos is one of the gods in the Court of Judgement. Devalos serves as the prosecutor in the Trial of Souls, arguing against a person, with his goal being to have the dead be deemed guilty and sent to The Layers. This has earned Devalos the title of "Attorney of Punishment." In addition to these duties, Devalos is also the god of punishment, fire, and the patron god of both devils and tieflings.
Devalos bears a great resemblance to the fiends of the lower realms, particularly devils. Devalos takes on the form of a muscular tiefling with gray horns and redish skin. His hands are dark and clawed. He wears a red suit, often with a hat.
Because of his duties in the Court, Devalos is not known to enter the mortal realm often. During the few brief moments where court is not in session, he is known to visit his temples. Devalos has two temples, one on Null and one in Assars. The temple on Null is a single room building next to the international courthouse, with two desks, one of which is always left empty for Devalos. The temple in Assars in much grander, but only the most devout are allowed to enter.
Devalos has an interesting relationship with his followers. Most people that pray to him do so only when someone they hate has died, so that he may have another piece of evidence to use. He has two sects of worshipers, those that watch over his temples, all of whom are chosen by Devalos personally. Occasionally, tieflings receive letters he wrote.
