Floth

Floth is a common polymer that is a byproduct of combining rocks and iron to fortify them through intense magic and pressure. This process leaves about Floth 'nuggets' that were thought to be of little use, until an inventor took use of it's light weight and relative strength and used them to make Gliders.
     Floth looks like a mostly opaque white solid, though it can be painted or dyed to become different. Texture wise, it feels like a smooth, chilly fabric. It is pretty rigid and will only bend a little bit under pressure, thought it is possible to sculpt and carve it using basic carving tools. It is apparently slightly magic-resistant as well.
     It is not recommended to eat Floth, since it tastes like a rock with a slight metallic aftertaste as well as being indigestible according to researchers. How they figured it out has never been elaborated on.
