Exploring the Greenhouse
You enter the greenhouse, carefully ducking to avoid the tangled vines reaching out overhead.
The place is crowded with different flowers, brambles, and everything in between. Some bushes even have a few pieces of fruit hanging from their unruly branches.
This greenhouse looks like it could have been organized, but whoever built it changed their mind halfway through and let the place fall to chaos even before the just a few centuries of mindless growing the plants dedicated themselves to.
Aside from the rustling of the wind and a steady pit-pat of starting-up rain, the place is nearly silent as you weave your way through the surplus of plants to a less-crowded area at the back of the building.
The glass table that's pressed up against the wall is covered in a thick, fluffy cover of grey dust, but you notice a small lump in the fluff.
Dusting off the lump, you find a small leather notebook. It's pretty beaten up and some of the pages have ink bleeding though, but the writing is still legible. Each page is covered with drawings of plants with notes upon notes crammed onto the smooth paper, describing medical benefits, details of poisons, and fruit taste. Each entry is signed with a small signature of the name Briar.
You gently put the notebook into your bag, but not before looking for a way to identify the tasty fruits and taking a few of the safe to eat fruits as a snack.
