An Interesting Stone

You walk over to the weird glimmer and rummage around, ignoring the small stones uncomfortably scraping your hands as you pull the shining object out of the ground, which turns out to be a rather small stone that resembles a pale grey-purple agate. You gently trace your finger along the smooth edge, wondering how it got there, then put it into your bag.
