Geographic Origin and Distribution

During the warmer months, they spread out and live a nomadic lifestyle, following herds of animals and raiding caravans to and from Meshtufa. During the colder winter months, however, they travel back to strongholds and fortresses where they are welcomed with open arms, unless they have insulted the khvalga overseeing the stronghold.

Average Intelligence

Despite a surprising capacity for learning, most orcs would not be considered very intelligent, at least when it comes to formal education. They value practical knowledge over things like math and science, though there are some houses that value learning to better utilize their natural abilities in regards to hunting and similar things.

Orcs have very keen ears and still keener eyes. Their keen eyes have developed from generations of hunting on the plains.

The khvalgau are probably the most well known and organized group of orcs that is widely known about.

Though their values vary somewhat from group to group (typically aligning themselves with similar minded orcs through the khvalgau), resourcefulness and cunning is almost always held in high regard among the orcs. Power is fluid in orc society, and though cunning is valued and the khvalgau do typically have some measure of relatively steady power, if trust is lost or honor is broken, power can be taken away from anyone.

Orcs have a long history of war with the elves and dwarves of Meshtufa, claiming that they stole their land and their honor. They often send raiding parties to the city in the summer that are quickly crushed.
