Standard Coinage

A variant of this coin system was used in Luche around 13'000 b. OW, when humanity was still present only in the small archipelago. As they spread over the material plane, founding a multitude of new organizations, they kept their original money, which became known as Standard Coinage but also had different names in most states. Often, the coins were minted with different emblems or slightly changed shapes, but the currency of other countries was accepted by most.

Standard Coinage has 5 types of coin: the copper, silver, gold, electrum and platinum coins.

  • A Fox, or copper coin, is the smallest unit in Standard Coinage. It is usually square, with a hole in the middle to allow it to be strung on a cord.
  • A Mountain, or silver coin, is worth 10 copper coins. It is usually triangular in shape with a hole in the middle, often depicting stars on one side.
  • A Tower, or gold coin, is worth 10 silvers. It is sometimes round in shape and often varies, but always weighs the exact same amount - 9 grams. It usually has buildings, fortifications, towers, or other edifices depicted on one side, and the mint or minting country's emblem on the other.
  • A Shiny, or electrum piece, has an oval form with a hole for stringing up. It's worth 10 Towers, and usually has mining tools on one side and the mint or minting country's emblem on the other.
  • A Shining Dragon, or platinum coin, has a square shape and is worth 10 electrum coins. It can carry any depictions on its sides, but always weighs 9 grams.
