As Marcos took control of the Tetrarchy, the inquisition set about to hunt perceived heretics and traitors of the Faith. Meanwhile, reports spread of rumbling in the seas, and strange gouts of steam coming out of the ocean
As Marcos de Orquemada became the Crimson Flame of the Tetrarchy, he made an edict to root out 'heretics and traitors of the Faith' to consolidate his Mandate of the heavens, and eventually kill remaining members of the Tetrarchy that still were loyal to the previous Crimson Flame. And, in the year 1692, there were reports of strange rumblings and even columns of steam and balls of fire in the night.
