The First Eternal War
In the beginning, there was only Light and Dark, Good and Evil, Salas and Tenebis. They used the Material Plane as a battleground and fought in a long stalemate. But one-day Tenebis was nowhere to be found, he was hiding, creating Calor, the Fire God. Tenebis used Calor to get the jump on Salas, causing her to retreat. Salas needed something to counter the endless fire and Aecor, the Water God, was born.
The war still raged on, now Calor and Aecor were pawns in Salas and Tenebis's never-ending game. Seeking to gain the upper hand once again Tenebis created Fulgur, the God of Lightning. Calor and Fulgur rained down endless fire and lightning on Salas. Protected by Aecor, Salas created Caeli, the God of Air and Wind, to redirect the fire and lightning.
Still, though neither of the Gods bested each other and thus the endless war raged on. In one final desperate attempt to finish off Salas, Tenebis created a God from the soil around him, Terra, the God of Earth and Rock was born. With his newfound power, Tenebis overpowered Salas and was on the verge of destroying her. But just as he was about to kill his mortal enemy, Aecor began to freeze over and crack into two. The Water God had given birth to Glacies, the Ice God.
With this Salas was saved and the Eternal War kept on going. With no end in sight, the elemental Gods banded together against their creators and sealed off the Material Plane and cast away a piece of their powers onto the ruined planet of Kantor(See Legend of the Six Artifacts).
Blocked out from their previous fighting grounds the pair moved their fight to the Astral Plane. In one final battle, each God gave it their all, simultaneously the Gods struck each other down, ending the first Eternal War and creating another(See The Split and The Second Eternal War).
