The Automatic Reloading Bow

The Automatic Reloading Bow, AKA The Auto Reloading Bow, AKA The AR Bow, AKA The AR, is more of a myth than a modern weapon. The story goes that the Elves needed some way to get an edge on the Humans of Aldermoor, so they commissioned a Gnome to design a bow that would have a much faster rate of fire. High ranking officers are have said to have bought the AR, but no one has tried to commercialize or redesign it after the war, which is quite unusual for Gnomes. The AR is said to be the size of a longbow, shoot short bow arrows, and hold up to 5 arrows at a time. If the mythic AR was the standard bow for the Elves the outcome of the war may have been significantly different.
