Basic Information
Anatomie
An average Llune has about the same height as a regular human but is more athletic and has a more resilient physique.
Horns that can vary from individual to individual stand out the most about this race. The facial features appear to be mostly humanoid but seem to have a certain animalistic touch. The nose might remind people of some sort of snout.
The skin colour of most Llunes is some sort of reddish or brownish tone. Not rarely their skin is covered by marks or tattoos and slight fur layer.
A tail which comes down to about their knees is used to express emotions. The nails of Llunes tend to be rather long and claw-like. They have floppy, furry ears which are a pointy towards the end. Their hair and eye colour can vary as well from unnatural colours to normal ones.

Although males and females are supposed to be equal, the female Llunes often still have to fight for acceptation among the males. They participation and value while hunting is often underestimated. While males tend to hunt with brute force, the females approach with more subtlety.

Llunes are forced to grow rather quickly because of the dangers they often encounter throughout their life. As children they are taught how to hunt, survive and kill. Those who aren't strong enough, won't make it. Although their hunting nature was more extreme back in the past and they established some what of a more civilized culture it's still a big part of them.

Soziale Strukturen
The Llunes are divided into different clans and normally live on their own, avoiding the other clans unless they made a pact. The leader of every clan has to come to a clan meeting if required and represent their clan. If clans were to clash violently, they resolve this problem themselves most of the time but if it seems like there's no obvious solution they can ask for a clan meeting and help from other clans.

They can run extremly fast, are good at hiding and sneaking, which is recquired due their hunter nature and residence in the open deserts. They have no problem with heat, the sun or whatsoever but suffer rather quickly of coldness.
Their physique is also very resilient to any kind of food (or not-food) and poison and rarely suffer from anything they might have absorbed.

Due the constant heat in the desert their clothes are rather revealing. But it is seen as normal and even as symbol of beauty.
Kultur und kulturelles Erbe
If a young Llune wants to be accepted as grown up they have to travel a certain stone circle (?) all alone, leave their mark on one of the stones and come back before the sun sets. Then in the evening they have to go hunting and slay an animal, so the mark on the stone will remain and become permanent. If this is accomplished they get tattooed to show the world they have grown up.
The Llunes worshipe the sun as their god and view her as a female. They call her the "Bright Mother" and think of her as an eternal source of life and happiness. To honour her they often perform various types of dances or bring her animal sacrifices.
Once a Llune is born it is the responsibility of the whole clan to look after them and make sure they make it, that they are safe. Family has a strong value within the clans. Parents who abandon or deny their child are often disowned by the clan. These orphans are treated with extra care.
Those who belong to no clan because they were cast out usually have a hard time surviving. They can try to join another clan but most of them get suspicious when they are approached by an outcast.
Geschichte
Unter Einfluss der Magie wurden die Menschen in der Wüste zu Llunes. Zwar waren sie zunächst recht wild, doch mit der Zeit erschuffen sie sich eine geregeltere Kultur. Dennoch zog es einige Llunes in die Großstädte. Diese sind heute als Kiaret bekannt und haben sich dem Stadtleben sowohl psychisch als auch physisch angepasst. Kiarets werden von den anderen Llune meist geächtet, andersherum sehen die Kiarets ihre Verwandten als primitiv und dümmlich. The Llunes are divided into various clans and formed their own traditons and cultures. Now although they are still seen as animals by some, they are most valued soldiers, hunters and bodyguards. But the most overlooked aspect of their culture are their spiritual beliefs. They honour the sun as their god and view "her" as an almighty power.
